At Bella Web Design, we place a great deal of importance on giving back to our community. Since starting our company in 1998, Bella Web Design has given away one non-profit site free of charge each year. In the last 6 years, we’ve upped our program to include 3 pro-bono non-profit sites per year.
We’ve found this is a terrific way to help non-profits who are doing great things to serve those less fortunate. Rather than a donation, we can use our expert web design and online marketing services to help these organizations spread the word about how they benefit their community.
The sites are 10 page template sites on the WordPress platform from our www.simplybellawebdesign.com division which includes one year of hosting at no charge. They are extremely user friendly and easy to edit with minimal training. We also offer deep discounts on the Infusionsoft platform which helps these non-profits get the word out about their accomplishments, needs and testimonials and stay connected to their community.
Some we’ve done:
www.win2ition.org helps the single parent community thrive through programs, sponsorships and services.
www.childrensliterature.org serves disadvantaged children at home and abroad for four decades by holding book drives, starting library collections, building libraries, and teaching children to read and create a love for books.
www.journeyeee.org helps homeless men start their lives over with resources they need to get back on their feet.
www.georgiawarrioralliance.org provides reintegration services for warriors returning from Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. The number one need for our military is a safe environment to decompress from the stress of combat and heal with their families before reentering their communities.
Now we want you to nominate your favorite charity for 2014. We’re already working with The Society of Young Entrepreneurs, but we have two more slots available.
Which charities are eligible?
- To be eligible, the charity must have a verifiable 501c(3) status.
How will future recipients be selected?
- Moving forward, we will look to both our clients and the community to recommend charities. We ask that you become a fan of our Facebook page and recommend possible recipients. If we see significant support for a particular charity, this will guide us in the selection process. You can also fill out our contact form with your recommendations.
How can I be kept up to date on this program?
- We will be continually updating the progress of the program on our Facebook and Twitter pages. We encourage you not only to follow along, but provide us your thoughts and feedback.
